Transparent share scheme Limits BG Grp

Under the BG Grp scheme ED can receive 3 types of awards (options and 2 types of RSS) each with a value up to 600% of base (1,800% of base per annum). There is an aggregate overall limit based upon a economic calculation which provides and annual limit, which changes each year as determined by the BG (2010 300%). The limit does not provide information as to what the aggregate face value award that can be made are. The limit would also imply that the less likely vesting is to take place the higher the award values that can be granted. The limits can also be exceeded in exceptional circumstances. The TSR calculation is a weighted index type rather than a based upon exceeding the median up to the upper quartile.
